How to make edible cookie dough bites
The EASY cookie bites begin with a combination of vanilla, maple syrup, and cashew butter. Almond, oats, and coconut flour are added to the dough. Desserts with good fats, fiber, and protein. Twist your arm!
Add the chocolate chips. We like mini-chips. The cookie dough bites wouldn’t be the same without them!
You can use them when you want cookies quickly (read: always ) or don’t feel like turning on the oven. They keep for a week so that you can have a treat in the afternoon during your workweek. ).
Ingredients
1/2 cup raw cashew butter (we like Artisana)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
We like Wellbees and homemade.
1 cup oat Flour (ground rolled oats // gluten-free if needed)
Use more oat or coconut flour instead of 1/4 cup Coconut flour
1/8 tsp of sea salt
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, dark or semi-sweet (we like to enjoy life or chopped chunks/chips).
Instructions
Add maple syrup and vanilla extract to a medium-sized bowl. Stir to combine. Add the almond flour, oats flour, coconut flour, and salt. Mix well. It may be necessary to knead with your hands. Fold the chocolate chips in.
Repeat with the remaining dough.
Enjoy chilled or at room temperature! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
